Eugie has been practicing Aikido since 1992. He is a student of Tony Graziano Sensei of Aikido of Louisville and many great Aikido teachers of different affiliations. He also follows the teaching of Iaido, Arnis-de-Mano and Karate-Do - to compliment his Aikido training. Eugie is the founder of the Lexington Aikikai and is currently the lead instructor of Lexington Aikikai.

Eugie received his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Silliman University, Philippines in 1989. He later immigrated to the US from the Philippines in 1991. In 2010, Eugie finished his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Midway College, KY.

Aikido is one of the most influential factors in Eugie's personal and professional life.
